Helen Callear is an artist from the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Masham, North Yorkshire. She specialises in linocuts but also paints in watercolour and acrylics. She is inspired by the stark contrast and balance seen in nature, the seasons and the wheel of the year as well as folk art, classic design icons, textile and ceramic patterns, folklore, myths and legends.
